Gunman Killing Spree – Why We Shouldn’t Arm Ourselves.

AURORA, Colo. (Reuters) – A gunman in a gas mask and body armor killed 12 people at a midnight premiere of the new “Batman” movie in a suburb of Denver early on Friday, opening fire on moviegoers after hurling a gas canister into the theater.

This type of senseless violence is becoming too common here in the US, and I’ve noticed it’s got a lot of people scared.

After this shooting was announced, many people on Facebook talked about arming themselves with handguns stating that if they were ever in a random shooting incident they would be ready to fight back!

Logically it makes sense to be prepared, but when you look at things through the view of the law of attraction you see a different picture.

Your vibrational frequency is your own personal energy DNA code that tells you what you are attracting at any given minute with your thoughts, words and actions.

When you choose to carry a gun you are aligning yourself with the energy of the use of that gun.  This means that it is likely attracting you to situations where you may need to use the gun.  As you can probably figure out, using a gun in conflict often leads to a bad outcome for one or both parties on either side of the gun.

The negative energy of the gun cannot be completely controlled.

You could get shot yourself, or  you could shoot another.  Even if you were just defending yourself, it is possible that you could go to jail for the rest of your life if the court finds you used the gun inappropriately.

Another scenario is you accidentally shoot a family member late at night in your house when you mistook them for a burglar.   Or what if you get into a road rage argument with another and they pull a gun to threaten you, and you show your gun to stand them down.  One person fires and someone is killed. Was road rage really worth one person dying and the other going to jail?

I know the gun activists have an opinion that is the exact opposite of mine, and that is OK.  We are all entitled to individual opinions.  They will say it is our God-given right to bear arms and we should protect ourselves from the “crazy”people out there.

I am merely stating that we should be aware what attract to ourselves.  Having a gun could attract the wrong type of situations to our lives.

My view is that we attract what we think, feel, and do.  I feel the energy of preparing to use a gun would do me more harm in attraction than it would in potential protection.

In full disclosure, I do own guns.  They are remnants of my younger years when I was less “awake”.  These guns are locked up and put away.  I  have no intention of ever using them again.   Since this is the case, I don’t feel I am attracting any negative energy from them.  However, if I chose to have one loaded and ready to use, and was thinking about future scenarios when I might need it, then that would be another story.

This article will likely be considered controversial. I welcome and encourage your input  regardless of your opinion.  All I ask is that you be respectful of the other opinions listed here. So what are your thoughts on this subject? Please post in the comment section below.
