If you have been reading my posts, you are familiar with my teaching that everything is made up of energy, which means that at our most basic level, we too are made up of energy. The amazing thing is that all this energy is connected. I talked about this as the Law of Oneness in my book, Awaken Your Power.
In science, quantum physics supports this premise with string theory, non-locality (entanglement), the double slit experiment, and Einstein’s Theory of Relativity.
Oneness is also connected deeply to spirituality. One of my favorite books on this subject, Keys to Soul Evolution, talks about how, at the base level, everything is energy, and how everything is connected. It states that different things can form strings of light to make or break connections with other things.
I personally understand this from the Law of Attraction standpoint, which teaches resonance. Resonance is when the energy of one thing matches the energy of another thing and they begin to reside and interact on the same wavelength and reality.
Keys to Soul Evolution suggests that we, as humans, can focus our thoughts on something to form strands of light to connect to whatever we think about on the soul level. Essentially, this means establishing a connection with that thing to draw it into your life.
This concept implies that we attempt to see the divine light in all things, especially those we don’t like or are having conflict with.
It is suggested that you try this approach for just one week and see what happens. Apply it in dealing with coworkers you don’t get along with, a struggling marriage you are enduring, or any other situation. In fact, it’s best to practice envisioning another’s divine light in those special times when you feel most inclined to judge them for their actions.
When you focus on their divine light, you are making a divine connection to them and infusing them with your own positive light force. The more people you mentally help this way, the more you brighten your own light. The brighter your light gets, the more you advance spiritually. As you advance spiritually, you will begin to see the world in a wonderful new light where everything has its purpose and amazing new abilities are available to you.
So the next time you are mad at someone, instead of counting to ten to defuse your anger, try seeing their divine light. This will take you to a better place mentally and emotionally, as well as altering their perception of you while you are making peace with one another on a soul level – peace that undoubtedly will help you to get along with each other in this world.
